Platform overage is £10 per additional block of up to 10,000 delivered messages above the monthly allowance. Meta's own WhatsApp messaging fees are separate and paid by the customer. Turing does not add a markup to Meta message charges.

How charging works

Two separate billing relationships — clearly explained.

1

Turing subscription

You pay Turing for access to the messaging platform, onboarding support, template workflow, campaign tools, consent controls and delivery visibility.

2

Meta WhatsApp usage

Meta sets WhatsApp Business Platform messaging prices. Your business adds its payment method with Meta and pays Meta's charges separately. Rates can vary by message category and recipient market.

Onboarding process

The customer journey is deliberately ordered.

We designed the platform so billing and Meta setup are explicit rather than ambiguous.

01

Choose Turing plan

Your Turing subscription is the first entitlement required for messaging.

02

Connect Meta

Connect an eligible WhatsApp Business Account through the supported onboarding flow.

03

Set up Meta billing

Add the payment method to the connected WhatsApp Business Account in Meta.

04

Prepare templates & consent

Use approved templates and only eligible, appropriately consented recipients.

05

Send & review

Campaigns run from Turing and delivery activity is recorded in the client workspace.

Why businesses use Turing

Software plus practical UK support.

Many businesses do not need another disconnected tool. They need someone to help them get the Meta setup, templates, customer data, sending process and reporting working together.

No Meta fee markup

Meta's WhatsApp message charges remain separate from the Turing subscription.

Your WhatsApp Business Account

The Meta assets and Meta payment method remain associated with your business.

Built-in campaign controls

Consent status, approved templates and subscription state are checked before dispatch.

Human support available

UK-based support is available for onboarding, setup and service issues.

AI where it is useful

AI-assisted campaign planning and content tools help speed up preparation while final sending remains controlled.

Clear delivery history

Campaign and delivery information stays visible in the client workspace for review.

Responsible business messaging

Consent and Meta policy are part of the workflow.

Businesses are responsible for having the appropriate consent and lawful basis for their customer communications. Business-initiated WhatsApp messages outside the customer-service window use Meta-approved templates, and opt-out requests should be honoured.

Turing's workflow is designed to help maintain contact status and exclude unsubscribed recipients from future marketing campaigns, but customers remain responsible for their own compliance and message content.

Common questions

WhatsApp Business messaging FAQ

Can recipients see each other?

No. This is business-to-customer messaging, not a public WhatsApp group. Recipients receive business communications individually.

Can we use an existing WhatsApp Business number?

Eligible accounts and numbers can be connected where Meta's supported onboarding flow permits. Availability depends on the account, number and Meta's current requirements.

Do you charge Meta's WhatsApp fees as well?

No. Turing charges the platform subscription and any clearly shown Turing overage. Meta's WhatsApp messaging charges are a separate customer-to-Meta cost.

Can we send promotional messages to any phone list?

No. Businesses should message people only where they have the appropriate permission and must comply with Meta policy and applicable data-protection and marketing rules.

What happens if our Turing subscription is cancelled?

Your Meta payment method is not removed by Turing. Sending through the Turing platform is blocked until the Turing subscription is active again.
